An absolutely excellent experience of a male well being health check. I have experienced other much higher priced health checks but this was by far the best. I was given quality time with Dr Large who listened to my concerns and gave me a very thorough physical examination after l had spent time with a very helpful and friendly nurse for all of lifestyle questions and tests.

Yes, you can choose to add optional tests either during the booking process or at any time before your appointment. Feel free to contact us if you wish to update or adjust your package after booking.
Our stool test (FIT test) helps assess your gut health and detect any signs of digestive issues or abnormalities. You will be provided with a home test pack that includes all the necessary instructions to complete the test. During your appointment, the nurse will guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have to ensure you're comfortable with the procedure. Once completed, your sample will be sent to the lab for analysis.
The Gut Microbiome test analyses the bacteria present in your digestive system, providing key insights into your gut health. You'll receive a test kit with clear instructions on how to collect your sample at home. Once submitted, we'll provide you with a detailed report on the balance of your gut microbiome and recommendations for maintaining optimal digestive health.
Hormone tests are not included as standard because they are often tailored to individual health needs. All Well Man Medical packages include a personalised results report. The Advanced and Advanced Gut Health packages will also include a letter written by our GP outlining your annual health goals, which can be shared with your GP for further continuity of care. This report summarises your results from the medical examination, blood tests, and other assessments, providing you with actionable insights and tailored advice to support your health journey.
Yes, if you decide you'd like to upgrade your package or add extra tests after booking, we can accommodate that. Simply contact us before your appointment, and we'll update your booking accordingly.
Typically, most results are available within 5-7 working days after your appointment, depending on the complexity of the tests. You will be contacted with your results and scheduled for your follow-up consultation to review them with a GP.
