Medicals

Some medicals – for example DVLA, Employment and Sports medicals - require us to review and sometimes validate your medical records. We will outline what we require following your enquiry. You can request a summary of your medical records from your NHS GP and bring it with you. Otherwise, just bring your ID and yourself!

Different medicals have different requirements. Typically, the nurse will take some measurements such as height and weight, the doctor will review and ask questions about your medical history and examine you, and - where required - they will undertake some tests. We carefully plan in advance for each medical to make sure you are able to get what is required done on the day. So please make an enquiry, and we will provide you with more detail.

We don't provide costs in advance as they can vary depending on the complexity of the form to be filled in, the complexity of your own medical history, and the testing requirements. Please provide us information in an enquiry form, and we will aim to get a cost to you within 1 working day. NB - If it is an unusual requirement such as a rare sport, please email the form for us to take a look so we can provide you with a charge.

Whether we can sign that we approve you or not depends on the outcome of the assessment. We cannot advise you in advance what that outcome might be.
