Many patients are seen entirely via video consultation, which works well for the majority of assessments. However, if you would prefer or require an in-person examination, our clinic is very easy to access. We are located just one minute from the M40, not far from London, with a large on-site car park and lift access within the building. This makes attending for a face-to-face appointment straightforward, whether this is your preference or something that becomes necessary as part of your care.
We do offer access to certain advanced and research-level tests, and where appropriate, carefully selected off-label treatments. However, all treatments must meet safety and regulatory standards, including insurer approval. Where a treatment is not currently available through us, we are transparent about this and may suggest alternative services or clinicians where appropriate.
We offer both standard and more specialised investigations depending on your symptoms. This can include cardiology testing for POTS, specialist blood and urine tests for conditions such as mast cell activation syndrome, and a range of advanced or research-level tests. Examples include the Attomarker spike protein and IgX tests, as well as upcoming tests such as Covid-19 faecal RNA and T-cell response testing. These are selected carefully based on clinical relevance and discussed with you in detail.
Your initial appointment is a “Deep Dive” consultation designed to provide a comprehensive and personalised assessment. We take time to understand your symptoms, medical history, and any previous investigations, and explore potential underlying drivers of your condition. This may include factors such as autonomic dysfunction, mast cell activation, hormonal imbalance, or metabolic issues. Where appropriate, we will discuss further testing options tailored to your individual presentation.
Yes - we aim to support patients with Long Covid and ME/CFS using a personalised, evidence-informed approach. Treatment plans may include pacing and energy management, support for the autonomic nervous system, nutritional optimisation, gut health strategies, and targeted therapies based on your specific symptoms. The focus is on understanding and addressing underlying mechanisms, not just symptom control.
Yes - we are able to arrange a wide range of investigations remotely. Blood tests can be organised either through a home visit from a phlebotomist or at a partner clinic local to you. We also offer more advanced testing at home, including cardiology assessments such as ECG, echocardiograms, 24-hour monitoring, and active stand testing for conditions like POTS, carried out by a specialist cardiac physiologist.
We issue private prescriptions directly. While we can write to your NHS GP to inform them of any recommended treatments, we cannot guarantee that NHS prescribing will be taken over. This is always discussed with you so you have a clear understanding of your options.
Yes - we regularly assess and support patients with suspected or confirmed POTS and MCAS. We can arrange appropriate diagnostic testing, including active stand testing and specialist laboratory investigations, and develop a tailored management plan based on your results and symptoms.
Most patients can be assessed and, in many cases, diagnosed through a video consultation. However, every patient is different, and the complexity of symptoms can vary. Some individuals receive a clear diagnosis after a single appointment, while others may require a series of consultations to fully understand their condition. Where needed, we will guide you through further steps to ensure a thorough and accurate assessment.
Our approach is collaborative, personalised, and transparent. We work with you to understand your condition in detail, explore appropriate investigations, and develop a management plan that aligns with your goals. All recommendations are made carefully, with a focus on safety, evidence, and long-term wellbeing.
Medication is considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into account safety, evidence, and regulatory guidance. We can prescribe certain treatments, including low-dose naltrexone, ketotifen, antihistamines, montelukast and beta blockers, where appropriate. Some medications that patients enquire about are not currently approved by our insurers, although we are actively seeking approval for additional options and adding to our list of improved medications all the time - so we welcome enquiries. All prescribing decisions are made collaboratively, with full discussion of risks, benefits, and monitoring. We can refer to a cardiologist for consideration of ivabridine, fludrocortisone or mididrine, though we can't prescribe them ourselves.
