Preparing your healthcare experience...
A portable blood pressure monitor worn continuously for 24 hours to provide a more accurate picture of your blood pressure throughout the day and night.

Results in 2–5 working days
Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM) is considered the gold standard for diagnosing high blood pressure. A small monitor automatically measures your blood pressure at regular intervals over a 24-hour period while you carry on with your normal daily activities and while you sleep. This provides a much more accurate assessment than a single clinic reading and can help identify white coat hypertension, masked hypertension and whether your blood pressure falls appropriately overnight. Once the recording has been analysed, one of our GPs will review the report and explain the findings in plain English. Please note this investigation focuses specifically on blood pressure measurement and interpretation. If you have symptoms such as chest pain, breathlessness, dizziness or would like a broader cardiovascular assessment, we recommend booking a GP consultation.
