A highly accurate PCR test for Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae using a urine sample or self-collected swab.
£140
Results in 2–4 working days
Chlamydia and gonorrhoea are among the most common sexually transmitted infections in the UK and often cause no symptoms, particularly during the early stages. This laboratory PCR test detects the DNA of both bacteria with excellent accuracy from either a urine sample or an appropriate self-collected swab, depending on the site being tested. Because PCR detects the organism directly, it provides a highly sensitive method of identifying active infection. Your results will be reviewed by one of our GPs, who can explain their significance and arrange treatment if required.
