The ALEX³ (Allergy Explorer) is one of the world's most comprehensive laboratory allergy assessments. It measures both whole allergen extracts and individual molecular allergen components, assessing up to 300 allergens from a single blood sample. The panel covers pollens, house dust mites, storage mites, cockroaches, animal dander, moulds, yeasts, insect venoms, nuts, seeds, legumes, grains, dairy, eggs, meats, seafood, fruits, vegetables, latex and selected medications. By measuring molecular allergen components alongside whole allergen extracts, ALEX³ can provide additional information to help distinguish genuine allergy from cross-reactivity and better assess the likelihood of clinically significant reactions. All results are reviewed by one of our GPs and interpreted alongside your symptoms and medical history to ensure they are placed into the correct clinical context.

Results are typically available within 10–14 working days. Some individual markers may take longer if they require specialist laboratory processing. We will normally wait until the full profile is complete before issuing your reviewed results.
