This assessment provides a detailed evaluation of your iron status by measuring Ferritin, Serum Iron, Transferrin, Total Iron Binding Capacity (TIBC) and Transferrin Saturation. Looking at these tests together provides a much clearer picture than measuring ferritin alone and helps distinguish between different causes of iron deficiency or abnormal iron metabolism.

Attend your appointment and one of our experienced nurses or phlebotomists will collect your blood sample. If your test also includes another sample, such as urine or stool, we will provide the necessary collection kit and clear instructions.
Results are typically available within Same day. Some individual markers may take longer if they require specialist laboratory processing. We will normally wait until the full profile is complete before issuing your reviewed results.
